GDPR caused a big impact in our industry when it came into full effect. It forced all companies to adapt to new rules, and while its implementation left a lot of room for improvement, our data is in a much better state and people are generally more consciuous about privacy.
GDPR didn't end up spam but it's safe to say that without it, there'd be much more of it. We all adopted it progressively and now we don't even think about it because we take it for granted.
Now, NIS2 is coming to do the same with cybersecurity. NIS2 is to cybersecurity what GDPR was to personal data, and we have prepared ourselves for that.
While some EU countries are lagging behind in passing their local legislation, when they do, its effect will be felt throughout the entire industry. Most companies will have to adapt to respond to attacks and leaks and give fast response to them lest they be fined for millions of dollars, suffer big reputational damage and even be charged with personal liability for company management, in some cases.
We've prepared this page to inform you about NIS2 so we can help you to adapt your company to it in due time.
Let's face this change together!
